Beautiful Color, Texture and Drape
I love all hijabs, but had trouble finding a satin hijab that didn’t feel suffocating. I got a few of Veiled Collection’s textured hijabs (in silver, steel and ginger) and I absolutely loved:
1. The color and sheen. It is lovely in person, shiny and bright. Love that it dresses up any outfit instantly.
2. The texture, which is a mix between rough satin and crepe. It isn’t smooth nor heavy like the usual satin. Instead it easily folds and styles.
3. The length! I like to wear my hijabs in shawl style which affords me more coverage, and it is really hard to find wide enough scarves for this purpose. This collection does a really good job with keeping things on trend and modest.
4. The sale price was something I couldn’t miss taking advantage of :)
The only con I can think of is the durability of the material. With its thinner, though not see-through, fabric, I feel with time and enough pins, the threads will not hold up. However, for the price I would just buy a backup in my favorite colors, and it’d still cost the same as a “premium” formal scarf. I’ve been wearing hijab for about 15 years now and Veiled has me excited for the first time on not just wearing but actually having fun with my hijabs!
