I normally wear an XS but purchased a S because I am currently 5 months pregnant. I thought this tie/wrap style would be perfect for my growing belly and it definitely works to achieve that. However, I have the inner and outer layers tied as close as possible and it still is very loose around my body. I like a more modest fit so the extra room doesn’t bother me personally but I could have ordered my usual XS even with the increased size of my body right now. I always order the 54” length that falls to the floor on me but this abaya seems to fall a bit longer than I am used to. I could have exchanged for the 52” but as my pregnancy progresses, I may need the extra length in the front. The material is light weight and soft. The design and color is beautiful and creates an elegant look easily. It is somewhat see through except where the fabric crosses over in the front (see photo). I will wear it over a long sleeve dress or inner dress to ensure modesty.
