This is made from a light fabric, great for warm weather. It’s not lined, so an undershirt might be helpful. The color is nice, and there is pretty embroidery on the sleeve and a nice design. Although size 11-12 normally fits my daughter, this dress in an 11-12 falls just above the ankles . I would probably pair this dress with pants, or a skirt underneath for length. My daughter may be a little taller than other 10 year olds, however the buttery dresses in the same size are the perfect height for her. So I think this dress may be cut a little shorter. The other proportions seem fine. This will be a go to choice in spring and summer. Thank you for giving the young girls some options.
