Children grow quickly, so if she is tall for her age or between sizes, choose the next size up. Girls' instant hijabs are one size.

How to measure

Use a soft measuring tape over light clothing, keeping it snug but not tight.

BustMeasure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level under your arms.
WaistMeasure around the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above the belly button.
HipStand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.
LengthMeasure from the top of the shoulder, beside the neck, straight down to where you want the hem to fall.

Our signature modal, finished in painterly prints. Cut from 100% modal rayon, each piece is featherlight and breathable, with a soft, fluid drape that holds gently in place through the day.

Softly sheer, so we recommend wearing it over an undercap. Available in short (165 x 70 cm), regular (180 x 70 cm) and long (195 x 70 cm).

Meet the Artist

Sarah Waithe is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based in Scarborough, Tkaronto. Working across painting, digital media, and community arts, Sarah’s practice is deeply rooted in her experiences as a Black Muslim woman of Moroccan and Trinidadian descent. Her work explores the intersections of memory, migration, and identity, weaving together Afro-futurism, abstraction, and ancestral aesthetics to create vibrant, storytelling-rich pieces. This scarf is inspired by Moroccan zellige tilework, which has always felt like a quiet memory passed down through generations. The patterns, the deep blues, and the earthy warmth speak to her Moroccan and Trinidadian roots through the layered journey of being a Black Muslim woman growing up between cultures.
