Discover Flowers of Spring, designed by @architecturebyari. ‘Gul-e-bahar//meaning ‘flowers of spring’ in Urdu, aims to encapsulate the blissful feeling of walking through a blossoming garden on a warm, breezy, spring day. The overall layout of the design, with its symmetrical floral vine border wrapping around the scarf is derived from mughal art, where such floral motifs are often seen around paintings. The focal point of the scarf is populated with delicate, pink, lotus flowers in a soft watercolour style, mimicking the mughal floral painting style. The lotus flower holds great significance in South Asian cultures, symbolising beauty and serenity. The philosophy of the lotus itself is perhaps what's most special about it and something we hope the wearer of this scarf is reminded of. One has to learn to bloom despite growing from the mud. Its roots grow in a muddy swamp, yet it flowers with the most gorgeous pink petals. Similar to how we have to pass through rough, dry winters to see a warm spring day with blooming flowers again one day. This is the essence of ‘Gul-e-bahar | Flowers of spring |گلِ بہار ’.
